Henry Stephen Flood, son of James and Mary Flood, was born in Drogheda, Ireland (from marriage record at Old St. Maryıs Church, San Francisco, California). He was born around 1837-1839, most likely 1838 (from death records, the Great Register of San Francisco and census information). He came to the United States as a young child and brought to San Francisco by Eugene Kelly, to work in the mercantile business (from biography and San Francisco Directory). Do not for sure if Henryıs middle name has an "s" at end. The Great Register had him listed as Henry Stephen Flood.
The obituary of Henry S. Flood said he was born in Dublin. His marriage entry said he was born in Drogheda, Ireland. Eugene Kelly who later became one of the riches men in America (banking) brought Henry Flood to San Francisco around 1852. I have a feeling that Mr. Kelly and Henry might be related. There was also a John William Flood that worked with Mr. Kelly in the banking business in San Francisco that also might be related.
